Hi All,

I have been busy designing the 2D-F1 Archbar Trucks.
http://www.lanestrains.com/2D-F1_Truck.jpg It is essentially done and is
very correct. The only modeling concessions that were made were the pins to
hold the springs in, a larger bolster pivot area, and a hole through the
bolster for the screw. Other then that is it 100% straight up prototype. It
is actually currently shown at prototype size. I drew the S Helper Service
wheelsets and axle bushings, and then did a 64/1 ratio! I portrayed the
wheelsets as pure silver for graphic separation. According to SolidWorks, a
S Helper Service wheelset at prototype size made from pure silver is 4513.11
pounds! I just love it!

I have been on it constantly for about 2 days now. I want to take a step
back, and then do some final checking so I know it will go together well.
You could see them for sale on the PSM website sooner then later...

Thank You,
Bill Lane
