I could understand that situation, but the $23 charge appeared on the first item I put into the basket: a tiny detail that could be mailed First Class for less than a buck. I still have not heard from MTS. -Wes

It came shipped in an "over-long" package- actually two USPS shipping package put together. This apparently was done to protect the one-piece 16" long flat. That may have something to do with the cost. Paul Schilling BTW - I'm still building the kit. The instructions are a bit "breezy" - perhaps the assumption is that the kit will only be ordered by experience modelers - but so far the kit has lived up to expectations. I think it's going to fit nicely into a gap on my layout. I'm pleased enough to be thinking of ordering the companion kit to completely "close the gap". In a message dated 1/19/2011 11:25:54 A.M. I've asked them to review this before I place my order. -Wes Ewell [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
