John,

The website really looks great. I love the photos. I really love the
photo of the large yard with so many of these cars in it.

I think your page where you who all the different slogans that were used on
some of the cars is a real plus too. If I was a millionaire, I might try
to pay someone to assemble one car with each slogan, but that is not going
to happen.

Keep promoting.

Earl, (and all)

My web page actually did say the model was coming in both HO AND S... up
until the day Jim King told me the kit was cancelled. But I have just now
finished updating the page with accurate text AND a few more photos that have
recently found their way into my posession. I meant to RE-update the page
yesterday but forgot.

Sorry for any confusion.

John, beautiful website, both the design and the photos. But I would have
immediately lost interest because the top line says this is an upcoming HO
project ! The information about this being offered as an S scale project,
immediately following saying the project has been put on the shelf for
lack of interest, is where the information is about Jim King taking on the
project.

But how many S scalers would get to that set of paragraphs several pages
deep after seeing the headline that this is an upcoming HO scale project.

At least update the website if you are serious about doing this in S
scale. Your boasting about having promoted this project, along with your
saying
over and over that each email will be your last effort to promote, is a
real turnoff. The S Scale model builders on this Yahoo site have rallied
behind you and your project. You should be both proud and happy. But get
serious about the promotion side.

I may have missed it in the pile of bits and bytes on this thread, but has
anyone actually posted a photo of the car in question?? After some
digging, I found one in the April 1996 issue of Bill Wade's S/Sn3 Modeling
Guide,
page 18.

Personally I'd rather go after the PRR K9a stock cars converted from their
fleet of 50' round roof box cars, in my home town of Fort Wayne I might
add! But that is a "hacking and whacking" project for some other day. The
50'
round roof is sleeping quietly in a box somewhere waiting for that day...
