I suppose the "WX" part was about "works," but not worth beating this
particular horse to exhaustion.
I must have been thinking about another tinplate caboose, as I don't pay that
much attention to the toy-train
offerings in O scale. Top of the line Atlas, MTH Premier, and Lionel
full-scale are worth converting, the rest
is basically junk so far as I am concerned.
I own one of Don's EV modern cabooses, four or five assorted AM bay windows,
one AM wood cupola, a
Kaslo N5C kit to go with a PRR SW-9, and a QC D&H wood kit. For my limited
interests in S scale, that
is probably more than I need (may end up selling off some of the AM
bay-windows).
