Friends, it's now getting late on Sunday (BTW have a good safe Memorial
Day and for those who put in their dues Thanks!) and I've pretty much
completed my research task. I also found a few more goodies that you
might be interested in: In the August issue of Mainline Modeler is an
article by our Jeff English on PS-1 boxcars. Unfortunately this is
before Jeff saw the slightly larger S scale light! I also saw where he
had won in the model contest at the 89' NMRA convention with a UP boxcar.

Also in Mainline Modeler, in the Oct. 85 issue, was a half page ad for
the Omnicon Missouri Pacific steam engine. Price was $455 plus $3.00
for shipping. I initially past on the engine because of the price, but
then saw it run and was sold. It's still part of my fleet of reliable
seam engines. Of course many of you will probably remember the ultra
great work by Bill Geracci with a cover and feature article on his S
scale works featured in the Alpril 89 Mainline Modeler. Is he still
modeling? And last by not least is a July 2000 article in Railmodel
Journal on Jim Sweeney's layout. I remember seeing it at the prior San
Jose' convention.

In my search for information, I came across a couple of articles on
Flowler boscars. I've got two to build, so now they are on my short
list. I've found photographic evidence that both the Soo and the CNW
had them with some variations.
