Hi Butch,

The CV HO bridge is tight, even for large HO steamers – the one on Jack 
Parker’s layout (owner of Central Valley) would not pass an HO ATSF 4-8-4.   It 
is also a bear to build – as a friend of mine said,”Great kit.  I will never 
build another.”   If you plan to use it with Sn3,, then it is OK, but it will 
no way handle standard gauge.   It is also fairly short, relatively.   I would 
take a look at (and for) some of the bridges done by Atlas, K-Line and Lionel 
for O.   It’s easier to narrow than to widen...   Span also makes a difference 
as to the most appropriate choice to modify.   The CV parts are available as 
separate items if you want to scratch a bridge up from parts...
