Hi Butch

I've come into this topic a little late, but I wonder if a possible solution
for a bridge would be the airfix or dapol girder bridge, it'll be 1/76 00 and
may still be a little small but it'll be closer than a 1/87 HO bridge, mind you
the UK loading gauge is smaller than the US so it may still be too small but
it's an option.

  Hi Butch,

The CV HO bridge is tight, even for large HO steamers – the one on Jack
Parker’s layout (owner of Central Valley) would not pass an HO ATSF 4-8-4. It
is also a bear to build – as a friend of mine said,”Great kit. I will never
build another.” If you plan to use it with Sn3,, then it is OK, but it will no
way handle standard gauge. It is also fairly short, relatively. I would take a
look at (and for) some of the bridges done by Atlas, K-Line and Lionel for O.
It’s easier to narrow than to widen... Span also makes a difference as to the
most appropriate choice to modify. The CV parts are available as separate items
if you want to scratch a bridge up from parts...

  Good luck!

Thanks Mike! I hadn't thought about the Central Valley bridge kit. It's sure
to be better detailed
