Hi Peter:

> By "active" I meant posting, which is a bargain, rather than "buying".

Ah, understand now. Post I can. Whether or not my posts are actually
beneficial... well... depends on how much one enjoys wading through manure
piles. :-)

> I'm sure our dealers and manufacturers would like more of the latter!

They ALL need more of the latter.

> Have you checked with dealers...

No, I haven't. Figured they will only have a limited amount of what is
available at the stock level. However, perhaps I'm wrong and I need to do
some hobby shopping, too. Perhaps I should amass an "I Want This" list and
post here?

I'm "okay" on switch engines to power my layout. I have my DCC system and
enough flex to lay the remaining track. I still need some more switches and
to find that box of salvaged electrical switches from my previous layout.
That can get me "going" on the layout... BUT... (and it's getting to be a
big butt... er, I mean but... sorry... that Adult thing again)... I don't
have enough rolling stock to start some operation. Operation to me is almost
90% of the attraction of model railroading for me... or at least it used to
be?

Anyway... need a bunch of appropriate rolling stock (mainly 40' boxcars,
reefers, etc contemporary with the early-mid 1960's.) so I can have things
to "do" once some of the layout is functional.
