Perhaps it depends on how picky one is about wanting a given item.
I mentioned a half-dozen new AM and SSA hoppers and a few Downs relettered AM
hoppers on the list a month or so ago at what I thought were decent prices and
never got a nibble.  I could probably spare a few of the Downs relettered AM 
boxcars I got from the Seeburger estate (in roadnames I don't favor so much)
if someone wanted them.  Good condition if not mint.
