If you get water in the basement just switch your prototype layout to the FEC
to Key West.

  Subject: {S-Scale List} Del-Aire

Many thanks to all the Del-Aire responders on this list, you have helped my
friend Rich very much. It does seem that a very common problem with the
Del-Air toggles is that they break off very easily.

Another thing became very noticeable; that is, many model railroaders now
use the Tortoise switch machines, they seem to be the favorite now-a-days.

One has to wonder why Craig won't sell off his Del-Aire business, as it
appears there is still a demand for the product? From what I'm told, it is
all still there, just like it was in use yesterday.

Perhaps the Tortoise [and the like] have taken over the switch machine
  market in model railroading?

I'm sure you are aware of the many tropical storms we are having on the
entire [U.S. of A.] Eastern Coast. Unfortunately, yesterday Hershey and
central Pennsylvania got dumped on, like six inches of rain in and hour or
so, plus all that we had already had, raising it to 10 inches..

Well, about 1:30 yesterday, my basement started leaking around the
stair-well area. I very seldom if ever get water in my basement, but it did,
and now I'm vacuuming up water out of the carpet.

The Jefferson Central sits above all that, so the trains still run, but
folks I'm old and this ain't easy. Frankly, I did use pre-caution
preparations for this one, but the rain was so heavy my preps just gave out.
Mary and I are so fortunate, many of our friends [in town] had their
basements totally emerged in water. (According to my son, you can pick up on
  all this on WHP.com. - http://www.whptv.com/default.aspx)

Bobby (Werre) , we'd love to send you people in Texas all of this water!

Once again gang, thanks again, when the call goes out, you sure are very
  helpful.

  "S"ee Ya,

  Bill (Fraley)
