 Dear Mr. Kozlowsky,

Directly from our chemist: "Black cap does not indicate a formulation change. 
Floquil formulations have never been a lacquer. Current formulations  did not 
change from the original formulations acquired during the acquisition of the 
product going back to the early 90's.   Product is and has been an enamel."
