Just in case... Do consider DecoderPro; it'll make your job much easier.
There are no CVs to memorize; just click and go. If your command system
supports it, you can even tweak the sound on the track so that you get
immediate feedback. I've done that with my two engines, to get them to
playback at about the same volume, without being annoyingly loud on my
small layout.
