Jace, It's great to get this information from a real Alaskan.
While I prefer to re-create real scenes, the White Pass and Yukon is a neat enough subject to make me `fudge' reality a little in order to include it. Once I complete the Valdez Terminal, I was already intending to build a module extending the single track that ended at the top right of the reverse `Z' and including a model of the Wasilla train station/Chamber of Commerce (the building serves both purposes), the Alaska Museum of Transportation and Industry (a railroad museum), the Iditarod headquarters, and the Mug Shot Saloon. All these neat structures are actually located in Wasilla, making it an excellent town to model. Now, I'll just `fudge' reality and give the WPY access to the Wasilla Station as well, possibly even have the WPY line merge with the standard gauge line and approach the station as dual gauge track before splitting away again. ~JJ~ --- In [email protected], JGG KahnSr <jacekahn@...> wrote: > > > Nope.
