Like tracking cleaning procedures, lubrication techniques vary widely.
Here is what I've found successful. I use a white Teflon powder on most
metal to metal wheel bearings. Occasionally I've resorted to an actual
light oil on a couple of brass cars that squeak a bit. I've never found
the need to use anything on axles resting in plastic or Delrin bearing.
I have several of the Aero Lub products that seem to work well, but I
also use the Labelle products when handy.
I understand the new nano ball bearing type lubricants will be the way
to go. I've seen the ads for them and am waiting to hear of any results.
