Ummm...

I have both!  I simply removed two throttle wires from a terminal strip and 
replaced them with two DCC wires.  My block toggles do the rest, left for DC, 
right for DCC. No biggie. 

I'm in no hurry to install decoders, I don't go pokin' around in all of them 
thar CV's and I only have one sound locomotive thus far, so even my DCC life is 
simple.

And I wind up running the DC stuff the most anyways.
