For the record, my WANT LIST will never shrink due to the cost. It will only shrink when I get the parts.
As for investing my money to have the things I want... that is exactly what I am doing with my draft gear boxes. And I am hesitant about letting someone else fund the project for me because I want the bragging rights as well as the parts. I am NOT saying, Bill, that I won't ultimately let someone else do one of my designs in brass... but since I want them in a form of plastic (resin, delrin or whatever) I'm just not ready to turn that over to someone else yet. But I should be able to make one of them happen (with my own money) right around tax time next year.
