I already have most of the diesels I will ever need, but I too would love
for Lionel to offer their Mikado or Pacific with scale wheels. I will be
shocked though to see them.

I have about abandoned any hope that Lionel will move toward the scale
market. The one product that interests me is their USRA light Mikado.

SHS and AM have proved that's it's not impossible to please both scale and
hirail buyers so there's no good reason Lionel couldn't do the
same.Hopefully MTH will realize why SHS was successful and will continue to
stick to
that level of quality, otherwise his investment will not be maximized.and
maybe Lionel will finally understand that they are leaving a lot of potential
sales to competitors by not pursuing the scale modeling side of the hobby?
All we can do is tell them the facts then either get what we want from
them or go spend our money elsewhere.........DaveBranum
