Group,

Just now I was perusing a Greg Komar catalog for decals when I came across this
interesting tidbit: Komar has decals for a PRR rib-side, two-bay open-top
hopper. The company ordered or built 30,256 cars between 1905-1911, and they
survived into the Sixties, some of them even getting what I call the
three-dimensional keystone emblem.

The AM ribbed two-bay will make, for me at least, a satisfactory model of this
car. With so many cars it is not improbable that they got around the country
at one time or another. I had the AM undecorated car lying around and have
finally found an appropriate road name for it. Yes, one will have to ditch the
ladders and use grabs and create a vertical brake staff and wheel, but it's
doable.

Just a thought

Tom
