The way I understand it the pigments must be ground before the batch of paint

    I've had some similar issues with Poly-S and the plastic bottled
    Badger paints of a few years ago.  I might have as much to do with
    how latex paint dries as the the size of the paint particles.  I
    once started the search for a very fine mesh screen to filter out
    large particles from any kind of paint but never did find anything
    other than panty hose.  As I recall it worked pretty well though.
