But the Y3 simply takes up too much real estate to suit me.   I do not 
think the minimum radii is necessarily a problem for  me.  
 
I expect this is a magnificent locomotive and I want to see the model  
operate.  But I do not expect to be an owner.   
 
I am looking for smaller locos that can be decorated to represent the  L&N, 
NC&StL, or Southern, and without paying an arm and a leg for  them.  I may 
have to just be happy with my SHS Consolidation.  I would  be even happier 
if SSL&S offers conversions of the Flyonel Mikados or  Pacifics. This would 
give me three possible steamers even if no new types  are offered.

Hi Earl....Not everyone will want every loco. But the Lionel Y-3 can  take 
36" radius curves. Perhaps smaller, but not yet tested on anything that  
sharp. Maybe 34" might be possible. Ed Loizeaux
