The NMRA did have a "Living Legends" series and another series honoring the great model railroaders of the past. I bought most of them, G&D, AL&P, PURR, Delta Lines, etc. Two had rather silly (Bikini & Hollywood and Firewater & Kicking Horse) freelance roadnames and graphics, so I passed on those two.
Otherwise, the only one I was disappointed with was the V&O reefer. Whoever heard of a black reefer with light gray trucks?
