The Budd trucks is a good idea; they are a sideframe found on a lot of the 
later postwar Budd cars.   There are a lot of detail differences between these 
and the A-M sideframes, both sprung and not; a discussion  of that may beyond 
the scope of most of our preferences for now.

This is starting to remind me of the early 60's when Robert Miller stopped 
making wheels and we all ran out of wheels!  Maybe it's time for DesPlains to 
do a run of the former Budd Buddies trucks!  If made in metal they would be 
great and in plastic they are pretty good too.
