Since most decal manufacturers seem to be part-time at best. It doesn't take much to upset ones production plus the financial rewards couldn't be much either. The problems of life will conflict very quickly when you're producing a low volume product. People do get long term illness, go through divorces, go bankrupt and move locations.

The solution for all this is for the decal people to simply sell "one time or multiple use rights" to their artwork. In this way I could get my Oddballs decals and Bill could get my decals made by a printer who might be setup on a larger scale commercial basis. At this point I could order decals made by Champ, Glow or Oddballs from the same printer all delivered at the same time with similar quality and maybe even different scales--not a bad thing from my standpoint. Since my order with Oddballs is for modern type cars, I don't think anybody else is selling in that market in my favorite scale.

It seems that some receive great service and turn-around times with Jerry Glow. And others, like myself, receive poor service. Why the inconsistency, I do not know. It is a difficult thing for me to understand as well. It has been a HUGE disappointment for me as his decals are accurate, he offers many of the roadnames that interest me, and I like the results from his ultra thin decal film. Painting and decaling remains one of my favorite parts of the hobby. But unfortately for the both of us, I will not order from him again nor can I recommend him to anyone.
