boB, For those "fidgety" springs that seem to fly away at the most inoppertune 
times, a suggestion that you of all people should be able to take advantage of: 
slide the springs onto a "string", install in place then pull the "string" out!
   And next time I visit, I'll bring my yardstick with a magnet on the end, I 
should be able to save myself some money on springs!
