Bob...
My arm isn't that good anymore, so they must be Texas Red River Valley rocks.
Maybe it's just Texas mud thrown up by all those rednecks returning from a
visit to Galveston. ;-)

Thanks for the nice comment, however, I was not checking the list this weekend
and missed your post so I didn't know I was "left out". I can't wait to see
Roger's article. My RMC's don't seem to make it before the 15th of the issue
month.

I still remember visiting Roger's first S layout in San Diego when we lived in
La Jolla. It was during an Sn3 Symposium but Roger graciously had his S
standard layout on the tour. That quarry operation was mighty impressive and
he has always been one heck of a good modeler, even if he does favor some
obscure prototype RR called Monon.

Of course, I also remember your visit to my first Sn3 layout to shoot photos
for Ed's excellent S/Sn3 magazine. I doubt either of us could get into those
contorted positions required for you to get those outstanding, out-of-the-box
photos that you took. And I was only serving as your gaffer. <grin> My back
has never been the same since!

Maybe the NASG should put together a promo piece showing photos of all the S
layouts (past and present) that you have photographed. THAT would really be
something to see. We're blessed to have a shooter of your talent doing scale
S! Thanks for all you do.

It really is amazing how much exposure scale S has received over the past two
years, going back to Brook's layout features. Let's keep the pressure on.
