boB, Sorry, I thought you knew the RailMaster steam locomotives were all Sn3. The Bachmann On30 2-6-0 that's been around is a model of C&S (narrow gauge) locomotive. Grandt Line makes axles and spacers for the 2-6-0 to widen the gauge to On3. The also make frame overlays for that model. They also make an On3 conversion kit for the Bachmann On30 4-6-0. From what I've been told, the cylinder spacing on the 2-6-0 is correct for On3. I don't know if some of these Grandt Line parts would help going to S standard gauge, which is wider than On3. On3 works out to Sn48.

I guess the next thing is a truckload of elbow grease to see if Bachamnn might be interested. If not, I may have to see if I can get someone to "S"tandard gauge an 0n30 4-4-0 or 2-6-0 for me. I understand that at one time, someone (Grandt Line?)offered a conversion kit for the purpose I have an 0n30 2-6-0 I picked up on Ebay for size comparison. It would make a great S scale 2-6-0. I also just snagged Tyco 4-8-0, but haven't received it yet. Ideas on replacing the missing smokestack are welcome boB Nicholson __________________________________________________ ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
