Welcome back, Andre;

Would you believe that this past weekend I had collected notes and photos from
your posts (here and on OGR) about your Baldwin project? Combined with Matt
Hogan's work, they will be the guide for my planned modifications to an AM S-12!

Hope you get "back on track" with the West Bottoms project, and keep us all
posted!

Subject: {S-Scale List} The Wayward Son Returns?

Hi all you S-Heads!

Andre Ming here.  Thought I would drop in and
say a big "Howdy" and hope all is well with each and everyone of
you.

My S scale sabatical may be nearing its end. In
fact, if I could, I would be tinkering with "S"omething S right now.

However, I have some clutter in this hobby room
to dispose of (can't see 3/4's of my layout for all the crap
that's piled on it!!!), an upcoming vacation to attend to, etc, etc.
Just have to wait a spell on tackling a project.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about where I'm
at with the hobby of model railroading, S scale in particular.  I've also
been giving some thought on how to re-define my goals on my little KC
Lines layout in view of the demise of my main decal supplier.

In fact, I have an "interactive blog" that I have
kept running for the past couple of years over at the O Gauge RR (magazine)
forums.  IF you have some time to burn and so inclined, then I
invite any/all that may have a passing interest to stop by and give it a
browse.  Input always welcome.  Here's a direct link if you'd like to
stop by and view the pics and read the writings of a mad man:

Welp... all fer now.  I've decloaked and am
receiving S scale Yahoo mailings as they happen (instead of stopping by the
home
page every now and then)... so hopefully, I can try to get caught up on the way
things be in S land over the coming weeks.

See 'ya!

Andre Ming
