at Scranton, ready-to-run production is still on hold due to the China
situtation. He expects that this will eventually sort itself out, but
this will likely take some time.
He did produce the X29 as a kit and
it looks like this is the shape of the near future. After the next antique
in the pipeline (the Fowler car?), Ron did suggest that something
non-stone age will be forthcoming.
This is much wider than S scale.
Athearn had a factory suddenly close. The empty pegs on the Atlas track
board in the Scranton train shop were accompanied by a sign indicating
that many Atlas products are in short supply due to production
issues in China.
Discussion on another group indicated that a
long-awaited shipment of Atlas HO flextrack finally arrived.
Unfortunately, at least some of the track seems to have been produced with
one rail code 100 and the other code 83.
