The North Conway station was described in MR, probably in the 1990-
1995 era.

While visiting NH about 12 years ago I bought a great little paperback
about the lines there including the one thru Crawford Notch.  This is
a spectacular bit of railroad construction with the track emerging thru
a rock cut at the top of its grade headed generally toward Mt. Washington.
This is easily seen from the highway.  I understand that excursions have
resumed since I was there.
