There was an article in a magazine some time back about replacing the
top of the plastic frog with a metal plate so contact was improved. The
plate was triangular in shape and had a pin soldered to it. The plastic
top was filed away to accommodate the thickness of the metal plate and a
hole drilled thru to accommodate the pin. The pin was directly wired to
the frog under the switch.

Does anyone know where the article was- Dispatch or S Gaugian and what
issue?
