A note to all members of the list (and friends). Sam and I and Jess Bennett will be attending S-West IV in Stockton Cal. in October. We will have a supply of both versions of our Steam Loco can motors on hand as well as several copies of all 5 of our Videos on S-Gauge model railroading. We'll bring the can motored 370 along to show the folks. We have most of the parts on hand now to do the conversions, so it won't be much longer before they will become available.
In another vein we will make some of the conversion parts available to the public on a "pair" basis. We have replacement worm drive gears for Alco's and Geep's in 30:1 and 16:1 ratios. We also have the bronze self oiling bearings that the armature (worm) shaft rides in. We have just completed the machining of these and we have 500 pair of each on hand. We are also going to offer 5 volume sets of the Videos produced so far. They will sell for $65 PPD. They will be available for $60 at S-West. This offer Starts Aug 24 and will end on October 31.
