Dudes . . . chill out! I made my Red Roof reservation so I'd have a room. Then I hunted for a better room (read cheaper, nicer, in a B&B). Once I found it, I booked it. Twenty minutes later! Then I offered my first booking to anybody on the list who needed it because you guys come first in my eyes before some anonymous business person.
I am still holding the two reservations and will cancel one of them in a day or so. Remember, it's for a date nearly a month away! Let's keep our senses here and not get all moral high-groundy about being fair to business travelers. Moderation and common sense sans judgement would be a good motto.
