I received my December issue of CTT today and happened to read the 'News & Notes' pages which gave a small section devoted to the new K-Line Big Boy.
The article describes the loco as being for 1:48 scale but in fact is actually built to a scale of 1:64 in order to negotiate layouts with tight curves. The suggested retail price is $400, which looks extremely good value, especially for those people that have the ability to re-gauge it for 'S'.
