It is no wonder there aren't more people into American Flyer and S gauge in general. The past few weekends I went to a number of hobby stores carrying trains. The walls were filled with Lionel. The shelves were filled with other O and O-27 manufacturers. In two shops.....I saw ONE American Flyer car. Being a part of Lionel...you'd think you would see at least a moderate amount of cares etc on a shelf or something. How can anyone get interested in S gauge and buy S gauge if they don't even see it? No...I didn't ask the owner and I know I was wrong for that but I was really angry. I will go back to them in the next weeks for other supplies etc.
