Hi all: Taking a brief survey. How high did you make the benchwork for your layouts, and would you change it after you have lived with it for a while. I know with multilayered tracks, it is somewhat variable, but do you have some suggestions as to main yards, etc. ? 40", 45", higher, lower, etc. I currently am planning on having a main height at around 40", with a higher track somewhat above. There will be tracks from level 1 to level 2, so it is really not two independent levels. I may even put a yard on a third level lower than the two I am now planning. (Note: as I am getting a little older, I am not too fond of crawling around under low benchwork!!!) Tx for info and I know that this thread went before, but what is your latest thinking?
