I haven't seen one in person yet.  One big factor is whether the 
drivers are insulated.  3 rail O gauge locomotives and rolling stock 
are typically difficult to convert to 2 rail operation because the 
outer rails are electrically common in 3 rail operation.  

Does anyone know if the driver centers on the K-Line Big Boy are die 
cast metal or injection molded plastic?  If they are metal, 
conversion would be a lot tougher because you would have to figure 
out a way to isolate the axles and side rods to prevent a dead short 
(if you wanted to re-use the O gauge driving wheels).
