I believe that is a rather uncommon variation, as the aluminum rims were pretty much reserved for the Hudson locos (and red-centered drivers for the Frontiersman ones). I think all the later locos had red plastic stacks, but the white paint was sometimes not done, I have a 21085 without the paint. Probably a factory boo-boo? S' David D.
