Word of caution - be careful when using synthetic lubricants around 
plastics and varnishes made prior to the 90's. Synthetic's will 
attack these materials in adverse ways especially the varnishes used 
in motor windings. The breakdown will not occur right away but will 
eventually destroy this material. Synthetic's are great on the new 
products made today.
