To all:
Two months ago I purchased a new, green piece of 1/2 inch plywood. As I
work with it I am noticing allergy problem in all the humans and even the 18
year old cat. Last night I finished my cutting / sanding / drilling /
mounting of this wood. It is ready for AF track. Before I tear down this
new section of my layout and evict this evil lumber, is there anything
anyone can suggests to seal the wood or otherwise trap its problems?
My layout also contains about 15 older sheets of plywood. These are all
dry, seasoned lumber. We don't have problems with these. None of the older
wood is painted or sealed in any way.
If this green plywood were dry I would just paint it. But it is green. Can
you paint green lumber?
