John,

I haven't heard from him on his listing of the AF 25056 and probably wont.
I feel for the person who wins
this car and pays allot for it, without the knowledge of the missing car and
hard to find rocket, if that should happen. Hopefully the winner is fully
aware of the missing piece, but I don't know that. I am sure the seller
knows what
he is doing, meaning I
feel he is knowledgeable about this piece. Hopefully the bidders know what
they are doing, but you never know, as I was uneducated after AF at one time
and I am still learning through magazines and S-List. I feel he knows what
he is doing since he has a nice picture of the plug from the boxcar and
doesn't question what that is for.

He is misleading the use of the AF factory number. Missing that key car
would hurt the auction, as it should command a lower price. How much to
deduct for the missing car and rocket, that I don't know and the bidders,
with that knowledge will determine that price, as I, a collector who would
wait for a complete set, if I needed it, as others might also.

By the way, I helped a seller when he mention some factory paint marks on
the Domino Sugar
Hopper, that are also pictured on the car in the Greenberg book and I have
same
marks are on my car. He was honest to mention these marks as a flaw, and I
told him I feel they are legitimate marks from the production line from the
factory, as the quality was going to you know where. He was grateful for
the knowledge. I told him he should mention this on the description that
this is from
the factory, most cars have this, if not all and to give reference to the
picture in Vol. One Greenberg. I almost didn't buy this car, when I was
reassure that others have this and I can accept that.

So not all is bad on Ebay.

Mike
