As part of my report on April 2002 York, I posted on this board that there was a new and much more favorable attitude about American Flyer on the part of Dick Maddox, Todd Wagner (the new chief of product development), and others of the new (post Gary Moreau) Lionel team (Those posts could be in the S-Trains archives). On the basis of lengthy discussions with both Maddox and Wagner, one could correctly surmise that an extensive range of new offerings were on the way once they got the 0 gauge side of the business in order.
