I use #14 stranded wire for my track power..... Doesn't seem to have much drop,, #16 works for close runs,,, But #14 is building wire & easy (?) to get in many colors,,, I usually get used wire from jobs, so the price is just right!!!!!Ask a friendly electrician to save old THHN for you... John ,
