To my knowledge, there is no AF wheel gauge available. The wheels tolerate being under 
gauge fairly well. I suggest picking a car or engine that runs well and let its wheels 
be your guide.

You need to be clearer about gluing wheels. Most wheels are press fit so glue is not 
normally necessary. The wheels on steam engine sometimes need to be glued as part of a 
repair. If your question is about a steam engine drive wheel, check out the repair

search the archives of the S-Trains group. You will find a rich literature on 
different solutions. If none of those answer your question, ask this group again and 
you will get several answers.
