I have used a Harbor Freight arbor press. They are more than powerful enough of an AF use. In fact, you need to be careful not to crush the piece. There is a lot of leverage. I'm not sure where you could buy tips to match the rivets, but I have made tips in my lathe that worked fine for this light duty type work.
