Mickey, The type of whistle controller that came with my 324AC back in 1950 (which I sold in the early 60's and just recently replaced) used a un-numbered controller similar to the one in the eBay auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=480&item=3118504686&r d=1
Mine had a red handle. They show up on eBay once in awhile. I picked up one last month.
