I once repaired a three-digit NP Alco loco, that was nearly new. The roar was the most realistic one I have heard, down to the irregular Alco rumble. My NP unit has a broken tongue, so I don't know if it would sound the same! I thought it was totally cool. Now to find a replacement tongue for mine, it's the one that has a two-legged tongue.
