Dennis, I am sorry that you misunderstood. I meant that AC Gilbert never made the Car Washer. And Doug Peck did not make it, although he sold it.
Actually there were 2 versions of the Car Washer made post ACG. One was made with a man cast with a brush, which was not the way Gilbert patented it. The other correct version has a brush that goes up and down. Tom Seccia now owns the tooling for this "repro" accessory.
