If my memory serves me well, there was an "independent" inquest set up to look
into the death of two youths who died under police interogation. They were
suspected to have stollen cellphones. A then Principal Magistrate Selby Dlamini
was apointed coroner. The last time we heard of the inquest was when it was
instituted. Then It was Mathousand, la Fakudze ..... the list goes on. Now we
learn there are frantic efforts from the police intelligence to identify
"unfortunate" two young men who will fit the identity of of two would-be
assasinists who attempted to kill unionist & Pudemo Nec member Vincent Dlamini
on the night of January 01 2008.

If an enquiry could lead to a "criminal prosecution of the perpetrators" we
would be assuming there's some kind of a level field in SD.

But did we ever learn the killers of Benedict,
Mathousand,
Ntokozo,
La Fakudze.................

The Swazi blood is sprinkled all over makosetive's farm and red is the color.

An enquiry can lead to a criminal prosecution of the perpetrators. An enquiry
will be an opportunity for the family and its supporters to put forward their
evidence. An enquiry will create many opportunities, including opportunities
for mass action.

But of course there should be more than just an enquiry. There should be a
monument. Let Thobile Maso's poem be but the first among many memorials of the
martyr hero comrade Sipho Jele!

The fallen must be honoured.

No need to mourn comrades. We must shoulder the responsibility,

claim its part of constructive engagement. We will continue to make

unrealistic slogans that 'may his soul rest in peace' what peace when

a young poor man died in agony? Its a pity that SWAWOCO who a dialy

victims laments for an inquiry, what more evidence can convince us

that the comrade was killed by the regime? Comrades lets think sound,

any evidence we seek wil not stop the murderers, only punitive action.

If we dont admit that we a responsible, we will loose character and

favour and blame the world as if we expect people of the world have an

obligation to free us than support. Lets leave the chorus of lament to

other forces and sing the right song with a good tune. He is no more

and more will follow.
