Actually, after some poking around the problem seems deeper, e.g. there
are no locale definitions on this Solaris box I have been developing on.
On my Linux box at home, the default locale definition comes up as "en",
but the locale definition is en_US. I'll poke around some more to see
where the default "en" comes from.
As a temporary workaround I just explicitly coded lang="C" into the XSL I
am using, and the warning has gone away (since the default "C" locale is
available on any computer and is indeed the fallback sort method). If this
happens to others, perhaps a FAQ entry would be useful.
