It selects the guards appearing in the series file, according to the
version of Sage.

Which patches are applied? My guess was that patches like
trac_9648_modulemorphism_codomain_extension-cs.patch are not applied
due to the recent addition of the #+4_6_1 guard (hence my suggestion
to sage -qselect).
